GoodWife is one of a small network of sites which deals with the topic of cross-cultural relationships between men and women originating from different countries. Some call it the Mail Order Bride industry, but while that phrase is well known, it is interpreted (and used) as a pejorative phrase that denigrates sincere men and women who are seeking, or have already found, their life partner in someone from another country.

GoodWife recognizes and acknowledges the rights of men and women to seek romantic relationships that cross cultural and international boundaries. We recognize and acknowledge the role technology plays in allowing men and women to communicate with one another from thousands of miles away, and in different languages, with relative ease. These sites have been developed with the following objectives:
